Moving over is the easy part
Add your shows
Search any show or movie and add it with one tap. Trending and For You picks help you rediscover what you were watching.
Mark seasons watched
One tap marks a whole season, or everything up to the episode you're on. Your progress bars are back before your coffee's cold.
Let it track for you
Connect Plex and new episodes mark themselves. From here on, Couchmark keeps score so you never have to.
Still have a TV Time export ZIP from before the shutdown? Import it and your whole history comes along, original watch dates included.
Choosing your TV Time replacement
Whatever app you pick, a few things matter: your full history should survive the move with its original watch dates, the app should feel native on your iPhone, and there should be no ads or subscription between you and your shows.
Couchmark is not the only tracker that can take over. Sofa Time and Showly also import TV Time data, and both are fine apps: the point of a migration is that your history ends up somewhere safe, wherever that is. Your export ZIP can be imported more than once, so you can try an app and change your mind.
What makes Couchmark's path different is how much of the export it reads: the full GDPR ZIP imports in one go, including every watched episode with its original date and your comments. The import is additive and safe to re-run, so importing twice never duplicates or deletes anything. And afterwards your data stays yours: Couchmark exports everything back out whenever you want it.
Two side notes: if your library leans anime, Couchmark’s anime tracking keeps episode titles and season order right, and if you are weighing Trakt as well, the Trakt comparison covers that move.
