Terms of Use

Last updated: July 10, 2026

Couchmark is operated by Layer ICT B.V., a company registered in the Netherlands ("we", "us"). By using the Couchmark iOS app or couchmark.com you agree to these terms.

The service

Couchmark lets you track the TV shows and movies you watch, discover new titles, follow friends, and optionally connect services like Plex, Overseerr and Jellyseerr. Couchmark is a tracker: it does not host, stream or provide access to any media content.

Beta software

Couchmark is currently in beta and distributed through TestFlight. That means things can break, change or disappear between builds. We do our best to keep your library safe, but during the beta the service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

Your account

Fair use

Don't abuse the service. That includes attempting to break or overload our servers, scraping other users' data, impersonating others, or using Couchmark for anything unlawful. We may suspend or remove accounts that do.

Your content

Your library, ratings, bio and profile photo remain yours. By posting them you give us permission to store and display them as part of the service (for example, showing your activity to people who follow you). See the Privacy Policy for how we handle data.

Third-party services

Artwork and metadata are provided by TMDB (this product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB) and by TheTVDB (metadata provided by TheTVDB). Plex, Overseerr, Jellyseerr and TV Time are trademarks of their respective owners. Couchmark is not affiliated with any of them, and connecting them is subject to their own terms.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Layer ICT B.V. is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from the use of Couchmark, including loss of data during the beta. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Dutch law.

Changes

We may update these terms as the product evolves. Meaningful changes will be noted on this page with a new date. Continuing to use Couchmark after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by Dutch law. Questions? Email couchmark@layer-ict.nl or visit the support page.
