Accessibility
Couchmark is built so everyone can track their shows, whatever settings you rely on. This page describes what the app supports today. Spot a gap? Tell us and we will fix it.
VoiceOver and Voice Control
Every control carries a proper label, state and hint: posters, episode checkmarks, filters, calendar days and rating stars all announce what they are and what they do. Because the labels are real, Voice Control commands like tapping a button by name work throughout the app.
Larger Text
The whole interface uses Dynamic Type and scales up to the largest accessibility sizes, well past 200 percent. Cards, grids and buttons grow with your setting instead of clipping the text, and long lists stay readable at every size.
Dark and light interface
Couchmark follows your system appearance or lets you pick dark or light manually. Both themes use the system's semantic colors, so every screen, menu and control adapts.
Color, shapes and contrast
Nothing relies on color alone: selected filters carry a checkmark, watched episodes use distinct shapes, and status is always spelled out in text or symbols. Text and icon colors meet contrast guidelines in both themes and step up further when Increase Contrast is on.
Reduced Motion
With Reduce Motion enabled, decorative animation calms down: the moving poster wall holds still, loading shimmers stop sweeping, springy pop-ins appear instantly and screens switch without sliding.
Captions in trailers
Trailers play through the YouTube player, which offers captions where the video provides them. When Closed Captions is enabled in your device settings, Couchmark asks the player to start with captions turned on.
Platforms and languages
Couchmark runs on iPhone and iPad (iOS 17 or newer) and speaks English, Dutch, German, French, Spanish and Turkish. The web library at couchmark.com/app works in any modern browser.
